Description
The Centre of Swine Studies of Catalonia's Experimental Pig Farm aims to develop training, experimental and technology transfer activities in the field of pig production. Among them, the support for experimental work by research institution and private companies. It offer a propitious framework to promote intrasectoral collaboration between different public and private entities, including solutions for the strategic management in intensive livestock, animal welfare or its transport. The farm is equiped with different fully sensorised precision feeding machines, cameras and enviromental conditions sensors for temperature, humidity, CO2, ammonia,... All this equipment is digitalised and the generated data is collected and shared through a Proof of Concept of the Pig Sector Data Space.
