Weeds identification and mapping through the usage of image recognition methods with the support of a robotic system. While simultaneously localizing itself in the environment, the robot takes images of the plots, reconstructing the position it was taken from and, through the use of Convolutional Neural Networks, identifies and localizes the weeds in the image, bringing them from the image position to the world position. The whole map of weeds, their identities and the environment map are then combined into a single map
