Description
With this service, we offer support throughout all steps required for the actual execution of digital tests exploiting AgrifoodTEF’s digital infrastructure. Tests can be either defined by the customer or designed via AgrifoodTEF Services S00176, S00177, S00178 (or any combination). If specific activities to correctly interface the system under test with the digital infrastructure where the tests are executed, these can be performed either by the customer or by AgrifoodTEF (via Service S00180); also, preparation of the testing environment can be managed through Service S00180.
The support provided by this service includes, but is not limited to, providing customers with general support during test execution phases: e.g., monitoring activities to ensure compliance with the testing protocol, or providing on-the-spot help in the identification of issues.
The service also includes technical support during execution of tests by the system under test. This phase includes, for example, ensuring that the necessary processes on the system under test are correctly configured and running, and supporting the customer in the solution of unanticipated problems (always a possibility when complex digital systems interact).
Finally, via Service S00182 AgrifoodTEF takes care of managing the technical infrastructure in order to perform test execution, including verifying the correct data exchange between the system under test and the AgrifoodTEF infrastructure, and ensuring that all testing requirements -possibly identified during the desk assessment phase (Service S00179)- are met by the actual test runs.
Example service: During the execution of AI model validation runs (e.g., within a virtual environment pre-configured through S00180), our team will make sure that a backup copy of the logged evaluation results is also stored in the AgrifoodTEF centralised storage system every X number of test iterations. Toy runs will be organised ahead of test time on limited data (e.g., via S00180) to verify aspects like, e.g., the correct software execution without any thrown exceptions, that any data formatting issues are resolved, that all required evaluation metrics (e.g., as defined via S00178) are computed according to specification. Additional support is be provided if any unforeseen code execution error arises directly at test time.
