Items to be defined include: phases composing the testing protocol; operations to be executed for each phase; number and qualification of personnel involved in each phase; duration of each phase; distribution of testing operations over time (times of the day); distribution of testing operations over time (times of the year); acceptable and desired variation range for each item of the environment; acceptable and desired variation range for each item of the timing; number of test repetitions required and their distribution over the variation ranges.
